About Me

I am a consultant paediatric gastroenterologist with over 30 years of experience in the NHS and private sector. I specialize in GI motility disorders, GI allergy, feeding disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and therapeutic endoscopy. After completing my training in the UK, I pursued a fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard. I have held consultant roles at major London hospitals and led services in Abu Dhabi before returning to The Royal London Hospital in 2023 to lead paediatric GI motility services. An active researcher and educator, I have published widely and mentor medical trainees in the UK and UAE.

Clinic Locations

Professor Rawat consults at The Cromwell Hospital in Kensington and New Victoria Hospital in Kingston-upon-Thames. He is available on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, but also works alternate Monday evenings at each location. These appointments are available upon request via the hospital and his private medical secretary.
